With over 40 years experience in the Australian Karting industry, Alf Capri Engines is a well respected Karting establishment located in Brisbane, Queensland. While specialising in the Italian manufactured Wildkart Karting products, Alf Capri Engines is also able to cater for the needs of Karters across all racing classes, from Rookies and Midgets to Formula 100 as well as dirt track, Speedway and the road racing categories.

Proprieter, Alf Capri, began his Kart racing career in the heady old days of self-built chassis and McCulloch engines, quickly dominating the competition at the now defunct Ipswich (Mt Crosby), Lowood and Southside circuits. With this success on the track came the requests for engine work from other Karters looking for the edge over their own competition and Alf soon established his modest engine rebuilding business under the family home in the inner-city suburb of Fairfield. And for the Capri family, Karting is certainly a family-affair with wife Maureen holding the position of AKA Qld State Secretary since 1993 and both son Steven and daughter Kathy enjoying success on the track since first competing as teenagers in the Junior International class.

Add to all this, Alf's involvement in the administration side of the sport as a former State Technical Advisor, National Technical Co-ordinator and currently an AKA Qld Delegate for Moranbah Kart Club and you can see that Alf's dedication to the sport is as strong as ever.
